Chandigarh, 27 September 2026:A beautiful celebration of authentic Italian flavours, rich culture and timeless culinary traditions came alive at UEI Global Chandigarh with the international-themed food festival “Bella Italian.” Held on 26 September, the festival provided students with an opportunity to showcase their culinary creativity, hospitality skills and professional capabilities.

During the festival, the UEI Global Chandigarh campus was transformed into a vibrant celebration of Italy’s colours, flavours and culture. Students took charge of various aspects of the event, including menu planning, food production, plating, service, guest interaction and event management. The experience gave them valuable exposure to working in real-world situations while putting their hospitality skills into practice.
A special highlight of the event was the presence of the students’ parents, guardians and family members. They had the opportunity to watch their children work in a live kitchen and service environment and enjoy the Italian dishes prepared by them. Students also served the dishes to their family members and explained the ingredients, preparation methods and special features of the cuisine.
Presenting their skills in front of their families became a moment of immense pride and excitement for the students. The experience further strengthened their confidence, creativity, teamwork, communication and professional attitude.
