Chandigarh, October 11- Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the country’s youth possess immense talent and are getting opportunities to realize their potential under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi. He said that India is moving rapidly towards becoming a developed nation under the Prime Minister’s visionary leadership and that the country’s standing and prestige on the global stage have grown significantly.

The Chief Minister was interacting with the media persons after offering prayers at the Mata Mansa Devi Temple on the first day of Ashwin Navratri.

Sh Nayab Singh Saini said that India had made remarkable progress in development through the policies of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi and the collective efforts of its 1.4 billion citizens. Targeting the Congress, he alleged that despite its long tenure in power, the party had failed to advance the country with clear policies and strong political will. He further alleged that the Congress and the INDIA alliance lacked substantive issues and were attempting to mislead the youth through false allegations. He said that people had become increasingly aware of the opposition’s political approach.

*Merit-based recruitment creating opportunities for youth*

The Chief Minister said that the Haryana government is committed to the welfare of the poorest sections of society and the balanced development of all sections. He emphasized that the government’s priority was to ensure that every eligible citizen received the benefits of welfare schemes and that young people had equal opportunities to progress on the basis of merit.

Highlighting the state’s recruitment system, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that government jobs were being awarded on merit without kharchi-parchi (bribes or political recommendations). He alleged that nepotism and corruption had prevailed in recruitment before 2014, whereas the present government was prioritizing transparency, fairness, and merit.

*Strong law and order remain a government priority*

Addressing the issue of law and order, the Chief Minister said that maintaining peace and ensuring the safety of citizens were among the government’s foremost priorities. He alleged that during previous Congress governments, an atmosphere of fear had prevailed and people had often faced difficulties even in getting FIRs registered.

He said that the present government had issued strict directions to the police to maintain law and order and take firm action against anti-social elements. Anyone attempting to threaten or intimidate others would face action in accordance with the law, he added.

The Chief Minister reiterated that the government is committed to ensuring a safe environment in which every citizen could live without fear.

*BJP will form government in Punjab in 2027: CM*

Responding to a question about the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini expressed confidence that the BJP would form the government in Punjab in 2027. He said that the youth, women, farmers, and economically weaker sections of Punjab were looking towards the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi and wanted to strengthen the BJP.

Comparing Haryana and Punjab, the Chief Minister said that Haryana’s youth were bringing laurels to the state by winning medals in sports and performing well in competitive examinations. He also expressed concern over drug abuse among young people in Punjab and stressed the need for effective measures to address the problem.

Targeting the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini alleged that it had failed to fulfil the promises made to the public in the name of honest governance. He claimed that the people of Punjab had become aware of the government’s shortcomings and are ready for a political change in the upcoming Assembly elections.

The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the BJP would secure public support in Punjab on the issues of development, transparent governance, youth empowerment, and public welfare.

Chandigarh, October 11- Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, accompanied by his wife, Smt. Suman Saini, offered prayers at the Mata Mansa Devi Temple on the first day of Ashwin Navratri and sought the blessings of the Goddess. On the occasion, he prayed for the happiness, peace, and prosperity of the people of the state.

The Chief Minister subsequently participated in the Havan-Yajna held at the Yagyashala within the temple complex and offered oblations.

Deputy Commissioner and Chief Administrator of the Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board, Sh. Satpal Sharma, presented a portrait of Mata Mansa Devi to the Chief Minister as a mark of respect.

Interacting with the media persons, the Chief Minister extended his greetings and best wishes to the people of Haryana on the auspicious occasion of Ashwin Navratri. He said he was fortunate to have the opportunity to seek the blessings of the Goddess on the first day of Navratri. He prayed to Mata Mansa Devi for the well-being and prosperity of the people and expressed hope that Haryana would continue to progress and prosper while playing a significant role in realizing Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi’s vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047.

*Chief Minister encourages blood donors*

On the auspicious occasion of Navratri, the Chief Minister visited a blood donation camp jointly organized by the Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board, the District Red Cross Society, Panchkula, and the Shri Shiv Kanwar Mahasangh Charitable Trust, Panchkula. He interacted with the donors and appreciated their contribution to this noble cause. He also pinned badges on the donors to encourage and motivate them.

The Chief Minister said that blood donation is a supreme act of charity, as even a single unit of donated blood can play a crucial role in saving the life of someone in need. He urged people to participate enthusiastically in blood donation drives and contribute to this life-saving cause.

*Haryana’s first Tourist Police Post inaugurated at Mata Mansa Devi Temple*

The Chief Minister also inaugurated Haryana’s first Tourist Police Post within the Mata Mansa Devi Temple complex. Haryana Director General of Police Sh. Ajay Singhal and Panchkula Police Commissioner Sh. Pankaj Nain was also present on the occasion.

A total of 20 trained personnel have been specially deployed at the post. They have been provided with a distinctive tourist police uniform, different from the standard police uniform, to enable devotees to identify them easily. The personnel will remain available round the clock to assist and serve pilgrims.

As part of efforts to strengthen security within the temple complex, live monitoring of more than 100 CCTV cameras installed across the premises will be carried out from the tourist police post. A dedicated control room has been established at the post for this purpose.

To facilitate effective communication with devotees arriving from different states, the personnel have received specialized training in communication and interpersonal skills. This training will help them understand the needs of pilgrims and assist them with courtesy, sensitivity, and a cooperative approach.

Appreciating the initiative taken by the Police Department, the Chief Minister said that the establishment of Haryana’s first tourist police post would make visits to Mata Mansa Devi Temple safer, smoother, and more convenient for devotees.

Chandigarh, October 11-Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini attended a grand ceremony organised by the Yuva Aggarwal Sabha at the premises of the ancient Shiv Temple in Patran, Patiala district, Punjab, as the Chief Guest on the auspicious occasion of the 5,150th birth anniversary of Maharaja Agrasen .

On the occasion, the Chief Minister paid his humble tributes to Maharaja Agrasen, a symbol of non-violence, socialism and compassion, and extended heartfelt greetings to the people of the country on his birth anniversary and the occasion of Navratri.

The Chief Minister said that Maharaja Agrasen was not only a great luminary of the Aggarwal community but also of the entire Indian society. He introduced the unique and visionary tradition of ‘one brick and one gold coin’ in his kingdom to help every new family become self-reliant. By completely prohibiting animal sacrifice, he established non-violence as a social principle in human history.

Sh. Saini said that the history of the Aggarwal community has always been distinguished by its contributions to nation-building, philanthropy and service to humanity. He specifically recalled the contributions of Bhamashah, along with freedom fighters, saints, litterateurs and industrialists who have brought honour to the community in India and across the world.

Reiterating Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi’s guiding principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas’, the Chief Minister said that initiatives such as GST, Digital India and Startup India have taken the business sector to new heights. Expressing concern over the prevailing situation in Punjab, he said that the state’s traders and youth today aspire for a secure environment, a transparent system and positive change.

Presenting an overview of Haryana’s industrial and economic development, Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that under the vision of ‘Viksit Haryana 2047’, the state government is working towards the goal of building a USD 1 trillion economy and generating 5 million new employment opportunities.

Haryana ranks fourth in the country in terms of startup culture, with more than 12,000 recognised startups, 19 unicorns and over 250 Fortune 500 companies. Under its Ease of Doing Business initiatives, the state government has taken several landmark steps to strengthen industries and the MSME sector, including the introduction of the Plug-and-Play policy, the PADMA programme and the abolition of more than 1,100 redundant regulations.

He expressed confidence that if Punjab also adopts a development-oriented governance model along the lines of the double-engine government, entrepreneurs in the state would benefit from excellent facilities and a more conducive business environment.

The Chief Minister also urged everyone to follow the path shown by Maharaja Agrasen and pledge to build a prosperous and secure Punjab.
