Chandigarh Police arrested Vishal @ Honey R/o # 42 Jitu Colony Bar Majra District Mohali Punjab from Mullanpur barrier to Khuda lahora road on 26-10-2026 and recovered one kamanidar knife from his possession. A Case FIR No. 91 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Sarangpur Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One Person arrested in Ndps Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Mohsin R/o # 953, Village Burail Sector-45 Chandigarh from near spring park Sector-53 Chandigarh on 26-10-2026 and recovered 9.30 gram heroin from his possession. A case FIR No. 192 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 36 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Cyber crime cheating

A case fir no 193 U/S 318(4), 319(2), 338, 336(3), 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber Crime Sector 17 Chandigarh on the complaint of Jitesh Kumar R/O # 1034/14, Village Hallo Majra Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated complainant for Rs 1,78,216/- by using OTP. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Accident case

A Case FIR No. 105 U/S 281, 125(A), 106(1) BNS has been registered in Police Station Industrial Area Chandigarh on the complaint of girl age-15 years R/o Industrial area ph-1 Chandigarh against driver of unknown car who sped away after hit to electric scooter driven by complainant near nexus showroom, ph-1, Industrial area Chandigarh on 25-10-2026, victim complainant and pillion rider her mother namely sustained injuries got admitted to GMCH-32 Chandigarh where the duty doctor declared brought dead Reena. Investigation of this case is in progress.
