Grant under housing scheme enhanced from Rs. 38,500 to Rs. 48,500


Shimla,September 09, 2010,State Government has enhanced the grant for construction of houses under housing scheme from Rs. 38,500 to Rs. 48,500 to SC/ST and OBC families.

This was stated by Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Smt. Sarveen Chaudhary here today.

She said that the annual income of these families should not be less than Rs. 17,000 for availiting the benefits under the scheme. She told that Rs. 15.50 crore was being spent during current financial year under the scheme.
