Chandigarh 15th may, 2014:-Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management, Sector 42-D Chandigarh a premier Institute of Hotel Management in collaboration with UT Administration has successfully inaugurated Eight Weeks Cookery Course for Differently abled participants on 13 May 2014 at Asha Kiran, Sector 46, Chandigarh.

The Cookery Course Training was inaugurated on 13 may 2014 by Shri Anil Kumar Ji, I.A.S. Home Secretary, Chandigarh Administration. Shri Rajesh Jogpal, M.D. Chandigarh Child and Women Development Corporation Ltd and  Mrs. Bharti Tyagi, Principal Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management , Chandigarh graced the occasion by their presence.

Shri Anil Kumar ji  told the participants that this is one of the most vibrant and upcoming fields for employment not only in India but also in foreign countries. He shared his expression of excitement when he saw the oomph of happiness among the participants.

The program is under the Hunar Se Rogzar Tak scheme, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. The first batch of 20 speech and hearing impaired participants have started from Tuesday at Asha Kiran. The Trainer for the course will be assisted by a sign language training instructor at Asha Kiran for communicating with the participants for the instructions.
