Chandigarh,23.03.15-Home Secretary Cum Secretary Tourism Mr Anurag Aggarwal, IAS, Chandigarh Administration inaugurated the three days India Travel Mart 2015 in Chandigarh alongwith big contingent of officers and police officials on 21ist March,2015.

 Accompaning Officer and visitors was very happy to see Jammu & Kashmir back in such event and passed good remarks ' Kashmir Janat Hai Kashmir Chalo' Sh Anurag Secretary Tourism also advised all state tourism boards who are present in ITM to inculcate sense among people of Chandigarh to visit J&K. Travel Trade from Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula and other parts of Punjab and Haryana besides local tour operators visited J&K Tourism stall and sufficient quantity of literature was distributed among visitors. There is a good response of people and demanding more packages for Jammu, Kashmir and are specially demanding packages for Ladakh.

J&k Tourism officials along with professional  DGM & Manager reservation attended the mart. This year 2015 is Visit J&K Year. The theme and aim of the event was to spread awareness among people who are relectant to visit Kashmir after recent floods, that all the infrastructure,tourist spots and traditional services are now back on track with full swing. Travel trade,Hoteliers and other service providers are eagerly waiting for tourists for hosting traditional hospitality and world famous services.

The participation of J&K Tourism in ITM will ultimately get good response from Chandigarh, Punjab and Haryana.
