October 14, 2015-In its second edition, the West India Travel Awards gathered the best-known faces and companies of the industry. October 14 was a night when the deserving were honoured. The venue was the Grand Mercure Goa Shrem Resort. The event was graced by the presence of Shri Dilip Parulekar, Minister for Woman and Child Development, Tourism, Ports, Protocol, Government of Goa, Mr. Nilesh Cabral, Chairman Goa Tourism Development, and Shri Nikhil Desai, Managing Director, Goa Tourism Development Corporation.

The black tie event brought together more than 120 guests for an exciting evening celebrating tourism excellence. The objective of these awards is to advance and promote the success and prosperity of the sector.
