Jammu May 30, Young talented Fencer from India got 19th rank in Singapore Junior Fencing Championship at Singapore. Displaying extraordinary Fencing skills and showing composure, promise, grit and guts, National Medalist Vansh Mahanjan qualified his pool and entered the knockout stage in Singapore Junior Fencing championship held from 26th to 28th May Singapore.

          Ace Fencer Vansh Mahanjan has excelled and ranked top in First 19th rank in Sabre event. This is the first time an Ace Fencer in his category from J&K State has achieved such a milestone in an individual event in international level.

          It is the sheer dint of hard work that has helped this Civil Engineering student of Govt. Polytechnic Jammu to achieve heights. It is overwhelming feeling that everyone including Senior, Junior Fencers of the State and well wishers sent me congratulatory messages. First greeting I have received from my coach with remarks - “You have been a terrific role model for youngsters and made us proud an international player Ujjwal Gupta with remarks – “This is just the beginning, work hard and follow your dreams” and then numbers of congratulatory messages from my parents, sister, Friends and relatives.

Now, International Fencer Vansh Mahajan has one goal in mind and working on achieving national color because he himself is also preparing for 16th Navy open Fencing Championship which will be held from 2nd to 5th June 2017 at Bangkok, Thailand.
