New Delhi, January 12 : The book release of Anuthe Rishte’  of Author Neelam Saxena Chandra was held at world book fair New Delhi in the presence of Shri Ashok Sajjanhar, IFS,. This is a collection of 21 short stories. The books have been published by Omji which is a publishing venture with a missionary zeal founded by Shri Sudarshan K. Cherry.

This event was followed by Neelam reading out a few poems from her collections that touched the heart of the audience. Neelam informed that she is motivated by day-today experiences in and around her in writing poems. The guests praised Neelam for her contribution to the world of literature. The Chief Guest, Shri Ashok Sajjanhar, IFS stated that the depth in Neelam’s poems was amazing.

Neelam Saxena Chandra works as Railway officer in Indian Railways. She also worked as Joint Secretary for U.P.S.C., India. She is an Engineering graduate from VNIT and has done her Post Graduation Diploma in IM & HRD and also in Finance. She has completed a course in Finance from London School of Economics. She has authored 4 novels, 1 novella and 5 short story collections, 19 poetry collections and 10 children’s books to her credit.

The Chief guest of the function, Ashok Sajjanhar, IFS, appreciated the writing skills of Neelam as well as the translation talents of Ritu Bhatnagar. Dr Mridula Tandon, Philanthropist and Founder Member of Sakshi, stated that there are very few writers like Neelam who can write on such variety of topics. She also praised translation skills of Ritu. The event was compered by Akhil Singh and was attended by dignitaries from all fields.
