Narendra Modi’s vision of making India a developed nation by 2047. He emphasised that achieving this goal would require the collective efforts of the people of Haryana.
The Chief Minister was addressing devotees at the conclusion of a five-day Divya Gita Satsang held at the Police Lines Ground in Ambala City on Tuesday evening. The event was organised by the Sh. Krishan Kripa Gita Parivar. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also received blessings from Gita Manishi Swami Gyananand Maharaj and announced a contribution of Rs.11 lakh from his discretionary fund.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the satsang, conducted under the guidance of Swami Gyananand Maharaj from December 27 to December 31, imparted the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita to the devotees. He proudly stated, we are fortunate that Lord Krishna delivered the timeless teachings of the Gita to Arjuna in Kurukshetra, Haryana only.
The Chief Minister said that the Haryana government is committed to spreading the Gita’s message across the world. As part of this initiative, the state organises the International Gita Jayanti Mahotsav in Kurukshetra. He said that the International Gita Jayanti celebrations have been held in several countries, and this year, over 50 lakh people participated in the event in Kurukshetra, with lakhs more joining virtually.
He further said that the government is renovating 182 Mahabharata-era pilgrimage sites within the 48 kos region of Kurukshetra. Besides this, a state-of-the-art Jyotisar Anubhav Kendra and Museum, based on the Mahabharata theme, is being constructed at a cost of Rs.250 crore at the sacred site where Lord Krishna delivered the Gita’s teachings.
The Chief Minister also announced a significant budget increase for Haryana’s gaushalas, raising the allocation from Rs.40 crore to Rs.400 crore.
During the event, Gita Manishi Swami Gyananand Maharaj engaged the audience with Bhajan Bhav, emphasising that the Bhagavad Gita is both a Yog Shastra (spiritual) and Prayoga Shastra (practical), offering solutions to life’s challenges. He prayed for happiness and prosperity for all in 2025.
Former Minister of State, Sh. Aseem Goel, officers of Jiyo Gita, and other dignitaries also remained present.

*Revenue Minister Vipul Goel suspends two Naib Tehsildars*
Chandigarh, December 31: While taking stern action against two officials of Revenue Department for negligence in their duties, Haryana Revenue Minister, Sh Vipul Goel has suspended two Naib Tehsildars with immediate effect.
The suspended officials include Amit Kumar Yadav, Naib Tehsildar of Kadipur in Gurugram district, and Raghubir Singh, Naib Tehsildar of Satnali in Mahendergarh district.
Sh. Vipul Goel stated that directions have been given to all Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars across the state to prioritize their work to ensure that the public does not face any inconvenience. He emphasized that strict action would be taken against those found negligent in their duties.
The Minister stated that the state government is dedicated to the welfare of all sections of society and has implemented numerous schemes and programs to achieve this goal. He emphasized that it is the responsibility of government officers and officials to ensure that the benefits of these welfare schemes reach every eligible individual, including the last person in the queue.

Chandigarh, December 31– Sainik School Kunjpura, Karnal, has invited online applications for admission to Classes VI and IX for the 2025–2026 academic session. Eligible students can apply online at (http://www.exam.nta.ac.in/aissee/) by January 13, 2025.
Sharing information in this regard an official spokesperson said that the admissions are based on an entrance exam for Class VI and Class IX. The final number of available seats will depend on the status of pass-out and enrolled students. The entrance exam for Class VI will be a 300-mark exam covering Mathematics, General Knowledge, Language, and Intelligence. For Class IX, the 400-mark exam will include Mathematics, English, Science, Social Studies, and Intelligence. Interested candidates may visit the official website for further details.
The spokesperson further said that Sainik School Kunjpura, an institution under the Ministry of Defence, primarily dedicated to the people of Haryana. Of the total seats, 67 percent are reserved for students from Haryana, while 33 percent are for students from other states. The school’s primary goal is to prepare cadets for a distinguished career as officers in India’s armed forces.

Chandigarh, December 31 – Regarding the suicide of a girl belonging to Scheduled Caste category studying at a college in Loharu, Haryana Social Justice and Empowerment Minister, Sh Krishan Bedi said that action is being taken against those responsible for the girl's death. In response to tweets made by Congress leaders on the matter, he said that instead of defending the culprits, those who tweeted should focus on demanding action against them. An FIR has been filed, and the police are working diligently to apprehend the culprits.
Speaking to media persons here today, the Minister said that the college where the girl studied had been talking about for free education and transport facilities in the area for some time. He added that videos of the local MLA are also available on social media in the regard. In this case, the victim's father has filed a complaint with the police, alleging that the college principal and his brother had mentally and physically tortured the girl. An FIR was registered in this regard at the Loharu police station on December 27, and the police are actively working to apprehend the culprits.
He said that the leaders who are tweeting about this case should focus on demanding action against the culprits. He added that by tweeting half-heartedly, these leaders are attempting to shield the culprits. They should instead work towards ensuring justice for the victim girl.
He questioned why these Congress leaders did not tweet during the Mirchpur incident. Targeting the former Chief Minister, he asked whether Sh Bhupinder Singh Hooda would ask his MLA about this matter.
He condemned such tweets that seem to defend the culprits, urging the leaders to retract their tweets and focus on demanding action against the culprits to ensure justice for the victim girl.

Transport Minister Anil Vij praises Sanya’s marathon
Chandigarh, December 31: Haryana's Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij, congratulated Sanya Panchal, daughter of village Rukhi in Sonipat district, for running a marathon from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
Sh. Anil Vij welcomed Sanya at Ambala Cantonment and praised her remarkable achievement. He highlighted India's diversity, emphasizing that despite differences in religion, language, and caste, the nation remains united. As an example, he mentioned that coconuts grown in Kerala are offered at the Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu and Kashmir, symbolizing the unity of the country. He further stated that this marathon stands as a powerful representation of India's strength and unity.
During the occasion, Minister Sh. Anil Vij also announced an incentive of Rs 1 lakh from his discretionary fund as a token of appreciation for Sanya's extraordinary feat.
The Transport Minister said that people are trying to disintegrate us, but there is something that "our existence will not fade away". We are one and together we can face all the problems by clenching a fist.
Sanya is doing this marathon in the memory of martyred soldiers and with the message of empowering women. Sanya said that she started this journey from Lal Chowk in Kashmir on December 13 and aims to reach Kanyakumari by April.

The Chief Minister was speaking at a Shraddhanjli Sabha held in honour of the late Chaudhary Om Prakash Chautala at Ch. Sahib Ram Stadium in Chautala, district Sirsa, today.
The Chief Minister described Chaudhary Om Prakash Chautala's life as a symbol of the struggle for the progress of Haryana. Under his leadership, the state experienced a new era of development. He said that Sh. Chautala was a remarkable personality who lived a life full of glory, guiding us with his vision and dedication. His firm commitment to the welfare of society and the state has been a source of inspiration for all of us. Wherever the betterment of society was concerned, Sh Chautala always stepped forward, contributing tirelessly to the well-being of the people, he added.
He prayed the Almighty to take the departed soul to his Heavenly Abode and give the bereaved family strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss.

One-year target set for TB Mukt Haryana, Arti Singh Rao
TB Mukt Haryana campaign will run till March 25, 2025
Chandigarh, December 31 - Haryana Health Minister, Kumari Arti Singh Rao said that the campaign to eliminate TB from the state will run till March 25, 2025, and the target has been set to eliminate TB in one year by December 2025.
The Minister called upon the people to cooperate in the TB Eradication Campaign.
Kumari Arti Singh Rao said that the 100-day TB Mukt Campaign has been launched at the state level from December 7, 2024. She said that the present state government has set a target to eliminate TB from the state by December 2025.
The Minister informed that during this campaign, the team of the Health Department is identifying TB patients by going to every city and village in every district. In this, the patients diagnosed with TB are being provided tests and medicines free of cost under the government scheme.
The Health Minister said that the Department is making dedicated efforts to realize Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini's vision of TB-Mukt Haryana.
She said that the medical officers of the state should not consider this campaign as just a duty but should work with full commitment.
She informed that under the Nikshay Poshan Yojana, the government also gives an incentive amount of Rs 1000 per month to TB patients till the treatment is over.
Kumari Arti Singh Rao said that under this campaign, doctors should also encourage citizens to become Nikshay Mitra and give them information about the Nikshay portal.
The Health Minister has also appealed to the citizens of the state to come forward for health checkups under the TB-free campaign being run across the state.
She said that the initial symptom of TB is cough. Coughing for more than two weeks, frequent sweating, fatigue, weight loss, difficulty in breathing, and fever are the main symptoms of TB. In such a situation, citizens must get their health checked and cooperate with the health department team. Only with everyone's cooperation will we be able to eliminate TB from the state in the next year, said Kumari Arti Singh Rao.

Chief Secretary reviews 11 projects worth Rs 5758 crore
Chandigarh, December 31 – Haryana Chief Secretary Dr. Vivek Joshi today conducted a comprehensive review of 11 infrastructure projects worth more than Rs 100 crore each of 5 key departments, including Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Civil Aviation, Health and Family Welfare, and Energy. These projects, with a combined estimated cost of ₹5,758 crore, are aimed at enhancing the state's infrastructure and improving the delivery of services to its citizens.
The projects reviewed today include three projects of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department worth Rs 2939.50 crore, two projects of Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department worth Rs 215.36 crore, one project of Civil Aviation Department worth Rs 1205 crore, one project of Health and Family Welfare Department worth Rs 500 crore and four projects of Energy Department worth Rs 898.64 crore.
Issuing strict directions, the Chief Secretary said unnecessary delay in the completion of projects within the prescribed timelines will not be tolerated. If any contractor or agency fails to adhere to the timelines, the departments should take immediate action against them and take other necessary steps to complete the projects. He said the departments must update the status of projects on the portal at regular intervals.
The Chief Secretary directed officials to regularly monitor and speed up the work of developing the Apple, Fruit and Vegetable Market at Pinjore, being constructed at a cost of Rs 139.50 crore.
It was informed that the work of construction of Phase II of Swaran Jayanti Integrated Aviation Hub in Hisar has been almost completed and the remaining work will be completed at the earliest. The Integrated Aviation Hub is being constructed at a cost of Rs 1,205 crore and will give boost to air connectivity in Haryana.
For the construction of animal farms/animal sheds and construction of poultry farms shed buildings at LUVAS, Hisar, the tender has been allotted and further construction work is underway, the Chief Secretary was informed.
It was informed that 92% work of renovation of existing 11 KV feeder line under Smart City Programme, Gurugram Maruti & IDC subdivisions and 79% work of renovation of existing 11 KV feeder line under Smart City Programme, Gurugram South City & Kadipur subdivisions has been completed. The total cost of both these projects is over 421 crore. In addition, 98% progress has been achieved in the work of reliable communication and data acquisition system for 132 kV and above network in Haryana.
On the construction of Maharana Pratap Horticultural University campus in Karnal, the Chief Secretary directed that the work of construction of main building and hostel must be expedited so that students can avail this facility at the earliest.
