Chandigarh, 13.01.25-The students and staff of Post Graduate Government College, Sector-46, Chandigarh, celebrated Lohri, the harvest festival, with great enthusiasm and religious fervor. The campus was alive with the sound of drum beats and vibrant music, reflecting a joyous celebration of life.

The function began with the ceremonial lighting of the bonfire by the chief guest, Principal Prof. J. K. Sehgal, in the presence of Vice Principal Prof. Sneh Harshinder Sharma. In his address, Prof. Sehgal emphasized that Lohri is not just a festival but a celebration of community, friendship, and family. He highlighted the importance of coming together, sharing stories, singing songs, and dancing around the bonfire to strengthen the bonds that unite everyone.

Prof. Sehgal encouraged students to embrace the spirit of Lohri, cherish the rich and diverse traditions of their culture, and strive to be a source of light, spreading warmth and kindness in the world.

The celebration featured a DJ party, where students and faculty members joyfully danced around the bonfire. The event concluded with the distribution of traditional sweets among the students and staff, leaving everyone in high spirits.
