MANIMAJRA, 14.01.25-Gurukul Global School celebrated the auspicious festival of Makar Sankranti with a special assembly that radiated Cultural vibrance and joy. The festival, which marks the onset of the Harvest season and the arrival of Spring, symbolizes renewal, gratitude, and prosperity.
The assembly began with a heartfelt prayer, followed by the sharing of current news, thought-provoking quotes, and fascinating facts about the festival’s significance. The event’s highlight was a lively Gidda performance, the traditional folk dance of Punjab, performed with energy and elegance by the students.
Enhancing the celebratory spirit, Jasleen Kaur Dhiman from Class IX, delivered a mesmerizing solo performance, captivating the audience with exceptional talent and grace. These performances beautifully reflected the cultural essence of the festival and left a lasting impression.
