CUH Celebrates National Girl Child Day
-Women Empowerment Cell, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh celebrated National Girl Child Day with a vibrant display of sports events. Emphasizing the significance of sports in fostering girls' holistic development, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Tankeshwar Kumar highlighted their role in not only enhancing physical well-being but also inculcating invaluable life skills such as discipline, teamwork, and resilience.

Prof. Suneel Kumar, Registrar of the University encouraged the girl students to perform best in their life. He said that it's about celebrating the strength, resilience, and potential of our young women. We hope to inspire them to pursue their dreams, both on and off the field.
Dr. Renu Yadav, Convener, Women Empowerment Cell said that this event is aimed to empower young women by providing a platform to showcase their talents, build confidence, and overcome societal barriers. Dr. Moroo Mario, the event coordinator and member of Women Empowerment Cell organized diverse range of individual competitions, including Jumping Queen, Throwing Queen, and Building Castle, culminating in a thrilling team event: a Tug of War between undergraduate and postgraduate students. The games commenced with Jumping Queen and concluded with the Tug of War.
Winners of the individual games were: Jumping Queen - Anjali (M.P.Ed.), Anupama (M.A English), Suman (M.P.Ed); Building Castle - Anjali (M.P.Ed.), Ankita (B.Ed), Lisha (M.P.Ed.); and Throwing Queen - Pari (ITEP), Monika (M.Ed), Pratibha (Economics). In the team event, the PG B.Ed. 2nd Year students emerged victorious (Gitanjali, Simran, A.V Nivedita, Jaya, Deepshikha, Annu, Janvi, Shushree Sangeeta). The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony graced by Prof. Ravinder Pal Ahlawat, Dean, School of education, Prof. NandKishor, Proctor, Prof. Dinesh, Dr. Amit, Ms. Renu and Dr. Pavitra members of Women Empowerment Cell and students and scholars from different departments of University.

CUH student selected as Graduate Apprentice Trainee
The student of Department of Electrical Engineering at Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh Ms. Shailja Mishra has been selected for the position of Graduate Apprentice Trainee at Diageo India. On this occasion, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of CUH, congratulated Ms. Shailja Mishra on her success.
