CHANDIGARH,18-02-2025-The Department of Anatomy, PGIMER, Chandigarh has received the body Mr Narendra Kumar Tiwari S/O Mr Ram Narain Tiwari, aged 94 years, male, R/O Dera Bassi, S.A.S. Nagar who expired on 17th Feb 2025. The body was gracefully donated by his daughters Mrs Sunita Bhargava, Mrs Sushma, Mrs Suvarsha & Mrs Sucheta, son in laws Col. A.K. Tinjani (Retd.), Mr Rajiv Malhotra and Mr Neeraj Peter on 17th Feb 2025. The Department is grateful to the family members and admires them for this noble gesture.

Blood Donation Camps
The department of Transfusion Medicine conducted two blood donation camps on 18th February, 2025 under the guidance of Prof. R.R.Sharma One at Amity University Mohali under the leadership of Dr. Ekta Paramjit and collected 88 blood units.
Second at Chitkara University, Banur under the leadership of Dr. Suchet Sachdev and collected 157 blood units. The Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGIMER, Chandigarh expresses its sincere gratitude to all its volunteer donors who came forward to donate on the occasion. The donated blood and components help in catering the needs of the critically ill patients in the institute.
