For the second time, Nayab Singh Saini takes oath as Haryana Chief Minister

*Prime Minister attends the grand ceremony organized at Panchkula

* 11 Cabinet and 2 Ministers of State also take the Oath

Chandigarh, Oct 17 – In a grand ceremony attended by Prime Minister, Sh Narendra Modi, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini took oath as the new Chief Minister of Haryana at Dusshera ground in Panchkula on Thursday. Haryana Governor, Sh Bandaru Dattatraya, administered him the oath of office and secrecy. Union Ministers and Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states also remained present on this occasion.

Haryana Governor, Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya also administered the oath of office and secrecy to 11 Cabinet Ministers and 2 Ministers of State.

The new Cabinet Ministers include Sh. Anil Vij, Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar, Rao Narbir Singh, Sh. Mahipal Dhanda, Sh. Vipul Goyal, Dr Arvind Kumar Sharma, Sh. Shyam Singh Rana, Sh. Ranbir Gangwa, Sh. Krishan Kumar Bedi, Smt. Shruti Choudhry and Kumari Arti Singh Rao. Apart from these, Sh. Rajesh Nagar and Sh. Gaurav Gautam took oath as Minister of State (Independent Charge).

Apart from Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi, Union Defence Minister Sh. Raj Nath Singh, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Sh. Amit Shah, Road Transport and Highways Minister Sh. Nitin Gadkari, Health and Family Welfare Minister Sh. Jagat Prakash Nadda, Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Sh. Manohar Lal, Education Minister Sh. Dharmendra Pradhan, Food Processing Industries Minister Sh. Chirag Paswan, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Sh. Jitan Ram Manjhi, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Minister Sh. Rajiv Ranjan Singh also attended the ceremony. Besides this, Union Ministers of State, Rao Inderjit Singh, Sh. Krishan Pal, Sh. Ramdas Athawale, Sh. Jayant Chaudhary, Smt. Anupriya Patel, and Sh. Satya Pal Singh Baghel attended the oath ceremony.

Governor, Punjab Sh. Gulab Chand Kataria, Governor, Gujrat Sh. Acharya Devvrat, Governor, Himachal Pradesh Sh. Shiv Pratap Shukla, Governor, West Bengal Sh. C. V. Anand Bose, Lieutenant Governor, NCT of Delhi Sh. Vinai Kumar Saxena also graced the occasion. Haryana Chief Secretary Dr T.V.S.N. Prasad conducted the oath-taking ceremony.

Elected as an MLA from the Ladwa assembly constituency in Vidhan Sabha elections, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini also served as Chief Minister Haryana, representing the Karnal assembly. He also remained Member of Parliament from Kurukshetra and State BJP President. Prior to this, he represented Nariangarh as MLA in 2014 and served as a Minister of State in the Haryana Government. Born on January 25, 1970, in the village of Mirzapur Majra in Ambala, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini pursued BA and LLB degrees.

*HSSC announces results for various Group C and D Posts
*Around 24,000 candidates selected across various departments

Chandigarh, October 17- Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) Chairman, Sh. Himmat Singh said that the results for the recruitment to various Group C and D posts have been declared on Thursday. The Commission has released the results of approximately 24,000 candidates.


He stated that the total number of Group C posts was 25,500, while the total number of Group D posts was 2,600. There were 25 groups and 205 categories in total. Out of these, around 24,000 candidates have been selected. This is the first time in Haryana that the results for such a large number of posts and categories have been declared simultaneously. Based on the candidates’ preferences for various posts, the Commission made an effort to match candidates with their highest preferred posts, ensuring maximum selection, the chairman added.

The Chairman further said that candidates who appeared for the exam can directly check their results on the official website https://hssc.gov.in/Result.
