The dream of homeownership for 2,00,000 low-income individuals in Haryana will soon become a reality

Eligible applicants without land will receive 100-square-yard plots in villages as the Nayab government prepares a blueprint for the scheme

Chandigarh, November 12 – The dream of 2,00,000 people in Haryana to own their own homes is set to become a reality soon. In this direction, Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini's government is preparing a blueprint for the scheme. Under this initiative, eligible applicants without land will receive plots of 100 square yards each in the villages. In this context, Sh J Ganeshan, Director General of the Housing for All Department, held a meeting with department officials to provide essential guidelines.

He stated that the objective of the Chief Minister's Rural Housing Scheme is to provide housing plots for low-income families in the state who do not have their own homes. This scheme aims to benefit these families, enabling them to construct their own houses. The successful implementation of the scheme will enhance the living standards of poorer families, allowing them to lead safe and dignified lives in their own homes.

While directing the officials, Sh J Ganeshan said that this scheme is a flagship initiative of Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini. Therefore, all processes associated with the scheme should be expedited to ensure that the public can access its benefits as quickly as possible.

It is noteworthy that last Friday, the Chief Minister held a meeting with senior officials, which included Development and Panchayat Minister Sh Krishan Lal Panwar and Urban Local Bodies Minister Sh Vipul Goyal. During this meeting, the Chief Minister instructed that in the areas where the 100-square-yard plots will be allocated, all essential facilities such as paved roads, electricity, clean drinking water, streetlights, solar energy, parks, and open green spaces should be ensured.

Furthermore, the government has made provisions to assist beneficiaries in constructing houses on these 100-square-yard plots. Financial assistance will be provided under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) to help beneficiaries build their homes.

Under the Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Yojna, 5,00,000 individuals have applied for plots in the state. All eligible beneficiaries will receive plots of 100 square yards in different phases. In this regard, the Chief Minister will soon present gifts to 2,00,000 people.

Infrastructure works worth about Rs 170 crore will soon be launched in 14 cities under the Mukhyamantri Shahri Awas Yojna

During the meeting, it was informed that beneficiaries who were allocated plots in 14 cities under the Mukhyamantri Shahri Awas Yojna will also receive financial assistance of Rs 2.5 lakh for building houses, facilitated through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. In addition, infrastructure development projects totaling approximately Rs 170 crore will soon be launched by the Chief Minister in all 14 cities where plots were allotted under the Mukhyamantri Awas Yojna. The HSVP has prepared the estimates for this work.

Allotment of 6618 flats in 8 districts under Mukhyamantri Shahri Awas Yojana soon

Every Citizen Should Take Resolution to Contribute to Pollution Control: Rao Narbir Singh

Chandigarh, November 12– Haryana Environment, Forests and WildLife Minister, Rao Narbir Singh said that climate change is becoming a global issue, and its impact is also being felt in India. In the National Capital Region of Delhi, air pollution increases every year during the month of November. While the state government is making efforts to control pollution, every citizen should also take a resolution to contribute to pollution control.

In a statement issued here today, Rao Narbir Singh said that the state has a relatively small forest area. However, the state holds special significance due to the presence of the ancient Aravalli mountain range and the Shivalik mountain range. The Aravalli range is of tropical importance, while the Shivalik range, which is part of the younger Himalayan mountains, is known for its dense forests. Panchkula and Yamunanagar, located near the divine land of Himachal Pradesh, hold special significance within the Shivalik range.

The state government has launched special programmes for the conservation of natural forests. Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev has also initiated efforts to promote natural resources in the region. Several forest parks have been established in this area by Patanjali. The number of visitors to Morni Hills, who come to enjoy yoga and nature, is increasing day by day. The state government has implemented special programs in Tikartal to promote adventure sports, including activities such as cycling and paragliding, he added.

Mr. Rao Narbir Singh further emphasized that the general public should take a resolution to plant a tree on their wedding anniversary, birthday, or any other special occasion, and also take responsibility for caring for these plants for the next four to five years. This will help reduce pollution and contribute to environmental protection.
