"The Punjab Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government is repeatedly failing to act despite the honorable Supreme Court's orders" - Haryana's Minister of Power, Transport, and Labour, Mr. Anil Vij
"They (AAP government) are simply waiting for something untoward to happen" - Anil Vij
"The Congress party has always disrespected the Constitution" – Vij
Ambala/Chandigarh/New Delhi, December 30 - Haryana's Energy, Transport and Labour, Sh. Anil Vij said that "The Punjab Aam Aadmi Party government is repeatedly failing to act despite the honorable Supreme Court's orders. I believe they are deliberately refraining from taking action for political reasons, and they (AAP government) are merely waiting for something unfortunate to occur."
Sh. Vij made this statement while responding to questions asked by the media persons today.
Meanwhile, a farmer leader made a late-night appeal yesterday for farmers to gather in large numbers at the Khanauri border, claiming that the Punjab government could launch an attack at any moment. Responding to this, Haryana’s Energy Minister Sh. Anil Vij said that "The farmers are protesting and perhaps they made such remarks to sustain their movement."
When asked about the Congress party's upcoming "Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan" campaign starting from January 3, Haryana's Cabinet Minister Anil Vij sarcastically remarked that "The Congress party has always disrespected the Constitution. They have misused Article 356 to dismiss elected governments countless times. They even imposed Emergency overnight and arrested nearly 1.5 lakhs people."
He further stated that "The word ‘secular’ was not part of the original Constitution created by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. However, Congress later changed it and added that term. Now, they (Congress) are running such campaigns to hide their sin, he added."
