Chandigarh,Dated 26.01.2025-State Bank of India Local Head Office Chandigarh Circle celebrated 76^th Republic Day with full fervour and zeal on 26^TH January 2025.

Shri Krishan Sharma, Chief General Manager of SBI Chandigarh Circle unfurled the National Flag at 9:00 am. It was attended by senior Officials, Staff and their family members. All present were filled with pride and reverence and saluted the National Flag. Thereafter National Anthem was sung by the large gathering of Staff and public.

Shri Sharma in his address to the Staff congratulated everyone on the occasion. He applauded the best performance recorded by State Bank of India and attributed the achievement to the hard work of all staff members. He talked about the very important role of our Bank in the act of Nation building. He emphasised how we should continuously work towards making our facilities available to all strata of society.

As part of our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, we presented 25 bicycles to meritorious girl students of PM Shri Govt. Girls Model Sr. Sec School, Sector-18, Chandigarh. This initiative underscores our endeavour to support and encourage the education of young girls in the society.

The event featured cultural activities, including the recitation of poems and patriotic songs by staff and their family members, adding vibrancy and emotion to the occasion.

The celebration was a reflection of our unity, commitment and contribution towards the Nation’s progress.
