Chandigarh Police arrested one lady R/o # DBC Sector 25 Chandigarh from gas agency turn Sector 25 Chandigarh on 17.02.2025 and recovered 48 quarters of dessi Santra from his possession. A Case FIR No 20 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 11 Chandigarh. Later on, the accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One arrested for consuming liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested Rajinder R/o # 53 Kishangarh from near his house on 17.02.2025, while he was consuming liquor and creating nuisance at public place. A Case FIR No 17 U/S 68-1(B) PP Act has been registered at Police Station IT-Park Chandigarh. Later on, the accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 29 U/S 305 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 36 Chandigarh on the complaint of Amandeep Singh R/o # 616 first Floor, Sector-18 Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away complainant Rolex Watch from JW Marriot Hotel Sector-35 Chandigarh on 11.02.2025. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 09 U/S 319(2), 318(4), 338, 336(3), 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber Crime Sector 17 Chandigarh on the complaint of Vinod Handa R/o # 445 Enclave Sector 49, Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated with complainant of Rs. 10,50,000/- on the pretext of investment in Stock Market. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 18 U/S 326(F) has been registered in Police Station Sarangpur Chandigarh on the complaint of Asharam R/o # 572/A EWS Colony Dhanas, Chandigarh against Shivjit @ Surjit R/o # 1518/B EWS Colony Dhanas, Chandigarh and Vijay they set fire on his Activa no CH-01CT-5191 from his residence on 15.02.2025.
