Chandigarh, March 6 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini called upon the trainee officers of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) to take a pledge to carry out their duties impartially and fearlessly. He also urged them to always be ready to protect the law and the Constitution, safeguard the rights of the people with sensitivity and stand firm in their commitment to truth, honesty and dedication, regardless of the circumstances.
The Chief Minister was speaking as chief guest at the passing out parade ceremony of 55th batch of directly appointed Gazetted Officers of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Gurugram today. A total of 39 trainee officers, including 2 women officers, passed from the CRPF academy today after completing a rigorous training program.
In his address, the Chief Minister inspired the officers to regard the service of the nation as their highest duty. He expressed confidence that these 39 trainee officers would discharge their responsibilities with utmost honesty and devotion, contributing to the integrity, unity, and sovereignty of the nation in line with the proud legacy of the CRPF.
Commending the CRPF for its invaluable contribution to the country’s internal security, the Chief Minister described the force as the backbone of country's security. He also commended the CRPF for adopting modern technologies and training techniques, which are helping to develop professional and capable officers prepared to face any challenges in the field.
The Chief Minister further encouraged the newly passing out officers to engage in constant learning, stressing that ongoing education and re-learning are essential for success. He highlighted that the CRPF is progressing towards modernization and empowerment, ensuring that the force remains equipped to tackle evolving security challenges.
Congratulating the trainee officers, their families, and the entire CRPF, the Chief Minister expressed his confidence that these officers would make significant contributions to the country’s internal security and nation-building.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini also recalled the historic decision of Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi to allow women in the Armed Forces, recognizing the power of half the nation's population. He thanked the Prime Minister for this initiative, which has led to the recruitment of many women in the Armed Forces. The Haryana Government has also encouraged women to serve in the police force, with women currently making up 10 percent of the state police. The State government aims to increase this figure to 15 percent in the near future, he added.
Highlighting the Haryana government's commitment to strengthening security forces, the Chief Minister said that special attention has been given to technical upgrades, resource enhancement, and the expansion of training facilities to better equip Police force for any challenges they may face. In addition, the state has established a dedicated Sainik and Ardh-Sainik Welfare Department to support ex-servicemen and paramilitary forces. In cases of martyrdom, families of Haryana soldiers serving in the armed forces and paramilitary forces receive a financial assistance of Rs 1 crore, along with a government job for one family member. To date, 415 dependents have been provided with jobs.

Chandigarh, March 6 – Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini while presiding over a review meeting on the various development projects in Gurugram district on Thursday, instructed concerned officials to expedite the implementation of major state government projects and ensure their timely completion. He said that officers must ensure high-quality work while maintaining a swift pace, and not allow any laxity in the development process.
The meeting was attended by Industry and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh, Sohna MLA Tejpal Tanwar, Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi (via video conference), and Principal Advisor Mr. D.S. Dhesi.
After receiving a detailed report on the sewerage, drainage, sanitation, water supply, construction and demolition (C&D) waste, and road systems from the relevant departmental officers, the Chief Minister said that development of infrastructure is very important to establish new dimensions of development in the district. He urged all departments to work in coordination and ensure that the stipulated timelines for these projects are adhered to. He further stated that since the government is accountable to the public, it is crucial that officials regularly monitor the progress of all ongoing development projects. In cases where delays are caused by the concerned agencies, he said that penalties should be imposed and FIRs be filed.
Safai Karamcharis to be deployed through HKRNL to improve cleanliness system in the corporation area
While reviewing the cleanliness system in the corporation area, the Chief Minister said that Gurugram is a key driver of the state's economic development. He said that it is our collective moral responsibility to ensure the city remains clean and beautiful. To address the issue of manpower, the Chief Minister suggested that sanitation workers could be engaged as needed in the relevant areas through the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam. The meeting also included in-depth discussions on improving the door-to-door garbage collection system in the corporation area.
GMDA to ensure the renovation of roads in a time bound manner
Instructing the officers of Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA), the Chief Minister said that the renovation work on all roads must be completed promptly to ensure a smooth and safe traffic system for the public. He said that there is still ample time before the monsoon season, and therefore, officers should ensure the work is completed by the end of June.
The meeting also revealed that GMDA manages 284.5 km of road, with 135 km of road renovation already completed. Following the removal of GRAP restrictions, renovation work on an additional 100 km of roads commenced on February 15 and is expected to be completed within the stipulated timeframe.
The Chief Minister directed that the removal of C&D waste be expedited, along with the upgradation of the drainage system and the metro expansion project, while ensuring transparency and efficiency in their implementation.
GWS channel to be remodeled to meet the water needs in Gurugram
It was informed in the meeting that the current water requirement of 270 cusecs in Gurugram is being met through the GWS and NCR channels. However, there is a need to remodel the GWS canal to meet the district's future water demands. A plan has been proposed to redesign the canal and convert it into a pipeline, which will not only eliminate issues like water leakage but also ensure better water quality due to the covered structure. The total cost for this project is estimated at around Rs 3,000 crore. The Chief Minister said that, in light of Gurugram's growing water requirements, a separate provision for this project will be included in the upcoming budget.
Ensure drains are desilted before road renovation – Rao Narbir Singh
In the meeting, Industry and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh said that before undertaking any road renovation work in Gurugram, the de-silting of drains along the roads should be completed. He said that officers should ensure that the consent of the concerned Resident Welfare Association (RWA) is obtained before proceeding with any development work in the area.
Additional Chief Secretary Town and Country Planning Department Apoorv Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Environment, Forest and Wildlife Department Anand Mohan Sharan, CEO of GMDA Shyamal Mishra, Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Chandra Bidhan and Deputy Commissioner Ajay Kumar along with other officers were present in the meeting.
Examinations going on peacefully in Haryana – Chief Minister
While addressing a question of media persons regarding the alleged paper leak in the board examinations, the Chief Minister clarified that the paper was not leaked but was taken out of the examination room, and someone took a photo of it. He assured that the matter has been properly investigated and resolved. He further stated that the exams are now proceeding peacefully across Haryana, with no further issues.
In response to a question about the budget, Sh Nayab Singh Saini said that this is the first budget of the third government. As such, suggestions were sought from various stakeholders. The government has received over 10,000 suggestions through the portal, which include input from women, businessmen, entrepreneurs, progressive farmers, horticulturists, and startups. He said that efforts are being made to ensure the budget meets the expectations of the people of the state.

Chandigarh, March 6 : Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, said that the Budget Session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha will begin tomorrow, March 7, and continue until March 28. As Finance Minister, he will present the state budget for the financial year 2025-26 on March 17.
The Chief Minister was interacting with the media persons after the all-party meeting and the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) held at the Haryana Vidhan Sabha here today.
He further said that the session will commence on March 7 with the Governor’s address. Following discussions on the Governor’s address, the budget will be presented on March 17. During the BAC meeting, there were positive discussions on the bills to be presented during the session, the duration of the session, and other important matters.
In response to a question about the pre-budget consultation meetings, the Chief Minister stated that he visited various districts across the state to hold discussions with industrial associations, chartered accountants, the textile industry, progressive farmers, FPOs, agricultural scientists, youth, Namo Drone Didi, Women’s Self-Help Groups, and invited their suggestions. Additionally, he gathered input from the state’s Ministers, MPs, and MLAs during a two-day consultation held in Panchkula on March 3 and 4.
He assured that the best suggestions will be incorporated into the upcoming budget. The Chief Minister emphasized that the goal of the pre-budget consultations is to create a budget that reflects the expectations of the state’s 2.80 crore population by integrating diverse viewpoints from various sections of society. He said that this will be the first budget of the third term of the non-stop BJP government of Haryana under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi. The budget, he added, will focus on advancing Haryana’s development at three times its current pace.
In reply to a question about the new building for the Haryana Vidhan Sabha, Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini stated that the matter has been discussed with the members during the all-party meeting. He said that due to the proposed delimitation in the state, the number of seats will increase, making the current building insufficient. As a result, a new building will be required.
When asked about the Municipal Elections in Haryana, Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini confidently remarked that a one-sided lotus will bloom on March 12.
In reply to another question, Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that a provision will be made in the upcoming budget to provide Rs 2,100 to women. He assured that the promises made in the Sankalp Patra will be fulfilled one by one over the next five years. The Chief Minister highlighted that the present government has made significant progress in this direction, fulfilling 18 key resolutions that have benefited the people of the state. He further mentioned that, in this ongoing effort, 10 more resolutions will be completed soon.
In response to a question about the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha's march from Punjab to Chandigarh over the non-fulfillment of farmers' demands by the Punjab government, Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini stated that the Punjab government has played a role in provoking the farmers. He emphasized that, as the son of a farmer, he understands the struggles and needs of farmers deeply. He highlighted that whenever farmers in Haryana faced natural disasters, the Haryana government stood by them. The Chief Minister pointed out that the present Haryana government was the first to purchase 14 crops at MSP (Minimum Support Price), and today, 100 percent of the crops in the state are being bought at MSP.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini also mentioned that he has repeatedly urged the Punjab government to engage directly with the farmers, assure them that all their crops will be purchased at MSP, and provide them with relief. He said that farmers are the sons of the soil who feed the people, and the Punjab government should prioritize their welfare. The Chief Minister appealed to the Chief Minister of Punjab to refrain from using force against the farmers, urging instead to engage in dialogue and support them.
In reply to another query about the supply of seeds and fertilizers to farmers, Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini assured that now no one in the state will be able to deceive the farmers. He emphasized that the government has ensured that only certified seeds are made available to the farmers.

Haryana Government Notifies 42 Services of Industries and Commerce Department Under Right to Service Act
Chandigarh, March 6 – The Haryana Government has brought 42 services of the Industries and Commerce Department under the ambit of the Right to Service Act, 2014, with specified time limits for their delivery. Additionally, designated officers, first grievance redressal authorities and second grievance redressal authorities have been notified to ensure timely provision of these services.
A notification to this effect was issued by Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi. The move aims to enhance transparency and efficiency in the delivery of services to industries and businesses in Haryana.
Under the Indian Boilers Act, 1923 (Act 5 of 1923), a time limit of 22 days has been set for the registration of boilers, while renewal of boiler registration will be completed within 15 days. Approval for the modification, alteration and repair of boilers under the same Act has been assigned a timeline of 10 days.
For processing and trading under the Lubricating Oils and Greases (Processing, Supply, and Distribution Regulation) Order, 1987, provisional licences and full licences will be issued within 20 days. Similarly, renewals for processing and trading licenses will also adhere to a 20-day timeline.
Under the Indian Partnership Act, 1932 (Central Act 9 of 1932), firm registration will be completed in 7 days, approval for changes in partners in 3 days, and approval for changes in the registered office in 3 days.
For services under the Haryana Registration and Regulation of Societies Act, 2012 (Act 1 of 2012), approval of society names will take 3 days, approval for governing bodies 15 days, changes in society names or registered offices 7 days, and amendments to society bylaws 60 days. Registration of existing societies and approval of collegium schemes will be completed in 15 days, while changes in firm names and firm dissolution will take 7 days.
Mandatory annual returns under Section 50(1) of the Haryana Registration and Regulation of Societies Act, 2012, can be filed within 30 days. Resolutions for governing body/general body meetings also have a 30-day timeline. The list of elected collegium members under Section 30(3) must be submitted within 15 days, and nomination of members of registered societies will be completed within 30 days.
Registration of economizers will be completed in 22 days. Permissions for the transfer memorandum of inspection books and registration books for boilers within and outside the state will be granted in 10 days. Certificates for boiler manufacturing units and boiler repairers will be issued in 15 days, with renewals for boiler repairer certificates completed in 7 days. Boiler welder certificates and their renewals will have a 10-day timeline, while Boiler Operation Engineer Certificates and Boiler Attendant Certificates will be issued within 30 days.
For large and mega units, schemes such as stamp duty refunds, electricity duty/open access charge exemptions, employment generation subsidies, and investment subsidies on VAT/State Goods and Services Tax will have a 44-day timeline.
Licenses for manufacturing IBR welding electrodes and their renewals will be issued within 15 days.
Timelines have also been set for receiving queries and resolving complaints from industries/businesses. All queries must be raised within 7 days of receiving details from the investor, and all queries and complaints must be resolved within 15 days of receiving complete details from the investor.

Chandigarh, March 6- Haryana government has released the datesheet for departmental examinations of various departments to be held in March 2025. These exams will be conducted from March 19 to March 26, 2025, at Saarthak Government Integrated Senior Secondary School, Sector-12A, Panchkula, in both morning and evening sessions.
Sharing information in this regard an official spokesperson of the Administrative Reforms department said that on March 22, 2025 from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM (morning session) Criminal Law for the candidates for the post of Assistant Commissioner, Extra Assistant Commissioner and E.A.Cs and Tehsildar, Forest Law of Forest Department, Accounts Paper for Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department and Fisheries Department, Group One Paper-A for Block Development and Panchayat Officers and Accounts and Departmental Rules Paper for WildLife Preservation Department exam will be held. Besides this, on the same day (evening session) from 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM, the Civil Law paper for the candidates for the post of Assistant Commissioners, Extra Assistant Commissioners and E.A.Cs and Tehsildars and Land Revenue Paper for Forest Department, Departmental Rules Paper for Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department and Fisheries Department and PWD Specifications Paper for SDO’s Panchayati Raj Department (Engineering Group) will be conducted.

Government taking steps to increase income of farmers & make agriculture profitable: Shyam Singh Rana
Chandigarh, March 6 - Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Sh. Shyam Singh Rana said the aim of the state government is to increase the income of farmers and make agriculture a profitable business.
The minister was speaking at a programme of a private channel today. The Agriculture Minister said special efforts are being made to promote natural farming and make barren land fertile. Under this, shrimp farming is also being encouraged. He said natural farming, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPO), agricultural mechanization and agro tourism are being promoted to increase the income of farmers. To encourage natural farming, the government is planning to give better support price to its products. Farmers are being linked to FPOs to get more value for their products. Availability of modern agricultural equipment is being ensured and agro tourism will also be promoted.
The minister said farmers are being encouraged to move away from traditional farming and practice diversification. Sh. Shyam Singh Rana said an incentive of Rs 25,000 is being given for purchasing a native cow on adopting natural farming, which will soon be increased to Rs 30,000. Four natural farming training centers have been started in Haryana at Gurukul (Kurukshetra), Gharaunda (Karnal), Jind and Mangiana (Sirsa).
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, assistance of Rs 6563 crore has been given to 20.69 lakh farmers of Haryana so far.
He said in case of crop failure, information about the loss of farmers is collected by the agriculture officers at the block and district level. After this, compensation is provided to them through the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana or Kshatipurti portal.
The government has taken many effective steps to deal with the problem of stubble burning. Subsidy ranging from 50 to 80 per cent is being given on crop residue management machines and so far, 1,00,882 machines have been distributed. An incentive of Rs 1,000 per acre is being given for paddy residue management. Under the Mera Pani Meri Virasat scheme, assistance of Rs 7,000 per acre is being given for adopting other crops instead of paddy and Rs 4,000 per acre for adopting direct sowing of paddy. Incentives up to Rs 1,00,000 are being given to red zone panchayats to prevent stubble burning.
He said the Haryana Government is taking several steps to increase the income of farmers and make farming a profitable business. Schemes like natural farming, modern agricultural techniques, FPOs and agro tourism will provide economic strength to the farmers.
