CHANDIGARH, 13.04.25-Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) 7.0 of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, Chandigarh successfully organized a comprehensive two-days "workshop on Prototype Design and Development cum Innovative Idea Competition". 77 students participated in the workshop. Day -I of the workshop commenced with a comprehensive session led by the resource person Er. S. Sukhvinder Singh, focusing on both the theoretical and practical aspects of electrical components and devices. The resource person conducted live demonstration of two key electrical devices; an energy saver device and a water leveler. Hands- on -training was provided to all the participants allowing them to actively engage in the fabrication process. Day-II began with an innovative idea competition where students demonstrated working models including water leveler, earthquake detector, logic gates, automated water dispenser, mutual inductance, automated rain-detector for household use, hydroponic farming and many more.

Officiating principal Mrs. Neena Sharma encouraged the students for their innovation and felicitated the winners by giving away the certificates and cash awards.
