CHANDIGARH, 28.02.25-The department of Computer Science and Applications, DAV College, Chandigarh organized inter departmental annual technical competitive event: Technovation, 2025. The event featured competitions designed to build confidence, foster creativity, and enhance critical thinking, which go beyond traditional classroom learning. Highlights included the Code-Debugging event, where participants identified errors in source code, and the Web Application Development event, showcasing creativity in building responsive, scalable, and secure applications. The Puzzle-Solving competition offered a fun challenge with IT-based puzzles, while the technical quiz provided an unforgettable experience for both participants and the audience.

Dr. Harmunish Taneja, Dean of Student Welfare, emphasized the challenges of the current times and expressed confidence that such events would help students enhance their skills in web development, technical areas, and logical thinking. He encouraged students to develop a technical and logical mindset. Dr. Mandeep K. Gill, Head of the Computer Applications Department, praised the faculty's efforts in making the event a success and stressed the importance of continuous skill development. The event saw enthusiastic participation from around 200 students, impressing judges and spectators with their technical expertise. Winners were felicitated with mementos and certificates.
