Ludhiana 02 March 2024-College of Veterinary Science, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana conducted Oath-Taking Ceremony of 91 passing out veterinary graduates of 2018 batch. Dr Gurpreet Singh, welcomed the Chief Guest, Dr Inderjeet Singh, Vice-Chancellor of the university. Dr. S S Randhawa, Director of Clinics, shared the achievements of students who brought laurels to the University in the field of academics, sports and extra-curricular activities.

Dr. H S Banga, Registrar and senior most professor of the university administered the Veterinarian’s Oath to the passing out graduates and asked them to ensure veterinary practice in line with the principles of veterinary ethics. The passing out graduates expressed their gratitude towards the untiring efforts of diligent teachers to fulfill their goal. They shared their fruitful experiences of five and a half year stay in the university.

Dr Inderjeet Singh congratulated the outgoing veterinary graduates and wished them all the success in their future endeavors. He also encouraged students to take part in extra-curricular activities to keep themselves happy and healthy in life, besides their duty towards profession. Dr Prahlad Singh, extended the vote of thanks.

The function was graced by the officers of the university, Heads of Departments and faculty members. An orientation programme was also organized by Carus Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. Carus also sponsored cash awards of Rs 51,000/-, 31,000/- and 21,000/- to three meritorious students, Gurekem Kaur, Nabhita and Mehakdeep Kaur Sharma, respectively, who achieved maximum OGPA in clinical subjects.
