CHANDOGARH,10.03.24-A meeting of the Governing Body and Block Conveners was held today at the RWA Camp office. Colonel Gursewak Singh, President RWA-MHC Sector-13 Chandigarh chaired the meeting. As many as 38 members were present. The following points were discussed:

1. Modalities of Annual function scheduled in April 2024.

2. Inrer park competition to be held on Sunday, the 17th March. Running trophies for the overall 1st and Second position would be given on the spot, on day of competition.

3. On that day, the 17th March, a special tambola will be organised as part of entertainment program.

4. On the same day, modality for Cooking Competition for RWA member ladies would be explained by the Project Officer, Mrs Sarita Khurana, an internationally acclaimed judge in this field.

5. RWA membership cards were presented to GB members. Each RWA member will be given such card.

6. Issues and problems related to new system of water supply were discussed.

7. It was informed to the members that responsibility of safai and cleanliness of MHC area has been given to a private company appointed by the MCC. In case of any deficiency in service, please send pictures with its location to the superviser, Mr Raj Bahadur at 9876107720. If action is not taken within 24 hours , the matter to be brought to the notice of the Core Committee for further action.

8. Some members raised problems related Adani Gas connections and supply. The President said that official of the company would be called in the camp office to address all such issues.

9. For the convenience of all Blocks will be serially numbered as was decided in the previous meeting.

10. It was advised that all sundry complaints related to MCC should be lodged at MC grievances No 0172- 2787200.

There being no other point, the meeting was declared closed by the President.
