One arrested in Consuming liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested Amit R/o # 48 phase 3 BDC, Sector 26 Chandigarh from TPT Area Parking Sector 26 Chandigarh on 13.06.2025 while drinking and creating nuisance at public place. A Case FIR No 63 U/S 68-1/B PP Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 26 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Disobeying the order of DM

Chandigarh Police arrested Amit Tyagi R/o # 1328, Sunny Enclave Kharar Mohali Punjab who was running Immigration office at SCO No 96, 1^st floor Sector 40/C Chandigarh without any registration and permission and disobeyed the order of DM, UT, Chandigarh. A Case FIR No 80 U/S 223 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 39 Chandigarh and later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Cheating

A Case FIR No 79 U/S 316(1), 351, 336 BNS & 24 Immigration Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 17 Chandigarh on the complaint of Ankush Chawla and others against owner and employees of citizen code service company SCO No 2935- 2936, Sector 22 Chandigarh they cheated with complainant for Rs. 17,22, 000/- to provide work visa. Investigation of this case is in progress.
