Kamaljit Singh Panchhi, President of the National Human Rights and Anti-Corruption Force, Chandigarh, respectfully appeals to the Hon’ble Governor of Punjab & Administrator, Chandigarh, to declare 25th November a public holiday in honour of the 350th Martyrdom Day/Shaheedi Divas of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, revered as Hind Ki Chadar.
This sacred day marks the supreme sacrifice of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, who gave his life to uphold religious freedom, humanity, and justice. His unparalleled martyrdom is a source of pride and inspiration for the entire nation. Declaring it a public holiday would allow citizens to pay homage, reflect on his teachings, and participate in commemorative events.
