Nauni Horticulture University Staff and teachers donate one day salary towards CM relief Fund
Vice Chancellor of Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Prof. R.S. Chandel presented a cheque of Rs. 25,66,606 to Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu towards the Chief Minister Relief Fund as contribution of one day salary of staff of the University here today.
The Chief Minister thanked for the noble gesture and said that such contributions go a long way in helping the needy in distress. He appealed to the people to contribute towards this fund generously.
President of Teachers Association of University Dr. B.S. Dilta, President Personal Staff Association Rakesh Kumar Handa besides others staff members and union presidents were also present on the occasion.

Mukesh Agnihotri announces to release 3 percent arrears of HRTC employees by 31st March
- Chairs board meetings of BSMDA and HRTC
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri while presiding over 162nd Board of Directors meeting of HRTC here on Thursday stated that 3 percent arrears of HRTC employees would be given by 31st march, 2026 in four installments. Besides, he also directed to provide pending medical bill reimbursement of six months to the employees. He also launched HIM Bus portal to facilitate the people to make HIM cards online, to be delivered by post later.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also signed by HRTC with Axis, UCO and Punjab National Bank for salary accounts assuring additional financial benefits. It was informed that there were 6000 Common Service Centre (CSC's) in the State as of now and ticket booking can also be done through them.
Apart from this, other issues basically pertaining to financial condition of the corporation, measures to expand services and various issues related to the employees were discussed in the meeting. Agnihotri said that the government was committed for strengthening the HRTC by all means besides providing best facilities to the passengers.
Earlier, he chaired 72nd meeting of the Board of Directors of the Himachal Pradesh City Transport and Bus Stands Management and Development Authority (HPSCTBSMDA).
Sh. Agnihotri also launched an 'Asset Management Application' for the Bus Stands Management and Development Authority which will help make the operation, maintenance and monitoring of bus stands and its assets more transparent and efficient.
It was informed in the meeting that 410 shops have been rented out at various bus stands across the state, generating a monthly income of Rs. 45 lakh.
The Board approved the construction of a shopping and parking complex at Theog market and a car parking facility along with a multipurpose hall at Mandi bus stand.
He issued strict directions to expedite construction works of bus stands at Thunag, Darlaghat, Hamirpur, Baijnath, Bhoranj and Fatehpur. The Deputy Chief Minister also directed to expedite the tender process for new bus stands at Bilaspur, Mandi-Bharari, Baddi and Jaisinghpur, car parking and commercial complex in old bus stand Chamba be completed at the earliest in a time-bound manner.
Additional Chief Secretary Transport R.D. Nazim, Vice Chairman HRTC Ajay Verma, Managing Director HRTC Dr. Nipun Jindal, Director Transport Neeraj Kumar, Special Secretary PWD Harbans Singh, Special Secretary (Finance) Vijay Vardhan, Special Secretary Tourism Vijay Kumar, besides non-official members of the Board and senior officers of HRTC and BSMDA attended the meeting.
