Cyber Cheating
A case FIR No. 150 u/s 319 (2), 318 (4), 336 (3), 338, 340 (2), 61 (2) has been registered at Police Station Cyber Crime on the complaint of Pankaj Kumar who stated that he received a call on October 28, 2025, from an unknown woman from the American Express card department. He was allegedly duped of ₹1.73 lakh after fraudsters sent him WhatsApp links on the pretext of upgrading his SBI credit card. After clicking the links, two unauthorised transactions were made. Investigation of this case is in progress.
