Chandigarh Police arrested Vishal @ Rinku R/o # 135 Nic Mani Majra, Chandigarh from Fish Mkt. Shastri Nagar Mani Majra, Chandigarh on 17-02-2026 and recovered 50 Quarters Marka Mota Santra Dessi from his possession. A Case FIR No. 26 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in Police Station It Park Chandigarh. Accused person later bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.
Two Persons arrested in NDPS Act.
Chandigarh Police arrested Vivek @ Vainky R/o # 782 Ph-1 Ram Darbar, Chandigarh and Vipanshu @ Ballu R/o # 1401 Ph-1 Ram Darbar, Chandigarh both from near petrol pump sector-31, Chandigarh on 17-02-2026 and recovered 15 gram heroin from their possession. A Case FIR No.30 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 31 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 28 U/S 281, 125(A) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 34 Chandigarh on the complaint of Manu Bali R/o # 1018 Tower No. 5 Deverly Golf Avenue Sector-65 Mohali (Punjab) against Shani Deval R/o Village- Raipur Khurd, Chandigarh driver of bike no. UP-62-DD-8706 who hit the complainant's Cyclist near Dev Samaj College Sector-45, Chandigarh on 17-02-2026. Complainant got injured and admitted to GMCH-32 Chandigarh. During the investigation the accused person was arrested and later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.
