A Case FIR no 14 U/S 304(2), 3(5) Added 317(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 49 Chandigarh on the complaint of Rajesh Kumar R/o # 1426/24, Phase-11 Sector 65 Mohali Punjab against two unknown boys they snatched away complainant mobile phone from near gate no 1 Motor Market Sector 48 Chandigarh on 02.03.2026. During the investigation the accused Vikramjeet R/o # 580 Village Burail Sector 45 Chandigarh and Om Prakash R/o # 2003/13 Sector 32/C Chandigarh were arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Theft

A Case FIR No 33 U/S 303(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sarangpur on the complaint of Thingnam Rajesh Singh R/o #266/3, Khuda Lahora near Radha Krishna Mandir Sarangpur Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away 2 gold chain, 3 gold finger ring, one pair earrings, cash Rs. 1 lac from complainant house on 28.02.2026. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 40 U/S 305 BNS has been registered in Police Station Maloya Chandigarh on the complaint of Rakesh Kumar R/o # 08, EWS Flats, Maloya Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away one gold chain, two gold earrings, one gold ring and cash Rs. 80,000/- from complainant house on night intervening 01/02-3-2026. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 23 U/S 318(4), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 19 Chandigarh on the complaint of Subash Chander R/o # 07, Sector 28/A Chandigarh against Vikash Bibra and his wife R/o # 230, Sector 21/A Chandigarh and Harmohinder Singh Virk R/o # 479, Sector 20/A Chandigarh, they cheated complainant for Rs. 25 lacs on the pretext of selling R/o # 230, Sector 21/A Chandigarh.
