New Chandigarh | March 13, 2026 -The Department of Oncopathology at Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre (HBCH&RC), Punjab, has launched ONTOP 2026 (Oncopathology Teaching of Postgraduates). Running from March 13–15, this national CME aims to bolster diagnostic expertise among young doctors.

The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr. Suresh Kumar Singhal (Director, PGIMS Rohtak) and Director Dr. Ashish Gulia. Dr. Gulia emphasized that "accurate diagnosis is the cornerstone of cancer treatment," highlighting the need for skilled faculty to deliver global care standards.

The program features expert-led workshops, slide seminars, and hands-on training in cytopathology and hematopathology. Attended by postgraduates nationwide, ONTOP 2026—awarded PMC credit points—strengthens the future of cancer diagnostics and patient care in India.
