Chandigarh Police arrested Sawan Kumar R/O # 4715 4th Floor, Dmc Sector-38/W Chandigarh from near naka jhampur barrier EWS Colony Maloya, Chandigarh on 26-04 2026 and recovered 50 nips of empire no. 1 mota santra wine from his possession. A case FIR No. 65 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in Police Station Maloya Chandigarh. During the investigation later on the accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police Arrested Ajay Galoth R/O Near Sita Ram Kabadi Vill- Daddu Majra Chandigarh from near Rc-1, school EWS Colony Maloya, Chandigarh on 26-04-2026 and recovered 54 nips of Tango Santra Masaledar wine from his possession. A case FIR No. 66 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in Police Station Maloya Chandigarh. During the investigation later on the accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Vicky R/O # 2028, DMC Chandigarh from near cremation ground Village Daddu Majra, Chandigarh on 26-04-2026 and recovered 50 nips of Jannat Mast Santra Masaledar wine from his possession. A case FIR No. 67 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in Police Station Maloya Chandigarh. During the investigation later on the accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Theft

A Case FIR No. 50 U/S 305, 331(4) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-17 Chandigarh on the complaint of Parveen Bansal Sco No. 49-51 Sector-17/C Chandigarh against Unknown person who stole away complainant 2,06,380/- cash and one Aadhar Card from his shop on 26-04-2026. Investigation of this case is in progress.
