Chandigarh 30th April -Sh. Kamaljit Singh Panchhi, President of the Chandigarh Traders Association, Sector 17, and Brand Ambassador of the Swachh Bharat Mission, convened an important meeting at his office in Sector 17 with inspectors, sanitation staff, road wing personnel, and toilet operators of the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh. The meeting focused on assessing the current cleanliness scenario of Sector 17 and formulating effective, result-oriented strategies to significantly improve the city’s ranking in Swachh Survekshan 2025–2026.
During the meeting, Mr. Panchhi emphasized the urgent need for dedication, discipline, and accountability in day-to-day operations. He urged all staff to discharge their duties with utmost sincerity and consistency to preserve Chandigarh’s reputation as one of the cleanest and most beautiful cities in the country, while collectively striving to enhance its national ranking.
Panchhi appealed to citizens to come forward and actively participate in this mission by taking a firm pledge to strictly adhere to Municipal Corporation norms. “Every individual effort matters and contributes towards building a cleaner, greener, and healthier Chandigarh,” he stated.
