A case FIR No. 65 u/s 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2) and 31(2) BNS has been registered at Police Station Cyber Crime, Chandigarh on the complaint of Kirpal Singh Thakur R/o #2159, Sector-38, Chandigarh, against an unknown person, who cheated the complainant of ₹85,000/- through impersonation. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Accident
A case FIR No. 76 u/s 281, 125(A) BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sukhvinder Kaur R/o #2095/A, Sector-66, Mohali (PB) against Ayush, rider of a motorcycle, who hit the complainant’s husband near Sector-47, Chandigarh on 16-03-2026. The victim sustained injuries and was admitted to GMCH-32. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Snatching
A case FIR No. 36 u/s 304(2), 3(5) BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector-49, Chandigarh on the complaint of Mohit Kumar S/o Mahesh Kumar R/o #2819/2, Sector-49, Chandigarh, against two unknown persons riding a black colour Splendor motorcycle, who snatched the complainant’s gold chain at gun point near BSNL Society, Sector-50 on 08-05-2026. Investigation of the case is in progress
