Chandigarh, May 17 – Expressing his inspirational thoughts on the true purpose of human life, realization of God, renunciation of ego, and universal brotherhood, Zonal Incharge Shri Surinder Pal Ji from Shahbad Markanda addressed thousands of devotees at a grand Nirankari Sant Samagam held at the ground in Sector 32D, Chandigarh.
Shri Pal Ji said that true devotion is possible only when a person realizes God in the true sense. Quoting religious scriptures, he stated, “Without knowing, love cannot arise,” meaning that without realizing God, genuine love and devotion cannot develop. He explained that God is not confined to any particular place, temple, mosque, or pilgrimage site, but is present in every being and every particle of creation. The need is only to recognize and experience Him. When a person realizes this truth through the grace of the Satguru, spiritual peace and bliss naturally enter one’s life.
He further said that in every age, the Satguru of the time has been the medium through whom humanity receives the knowledge of the formless God and right direction in life. In the present time, Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj is enlightening humanity with the realization of God, enabling people to understand the true purpose of life. Human life is not limited to worldly achievements and material pleasures; its real purpose is to realize God, serve humanity, and live with love and humility.
He stated that today people spend time in rituals and pilgrimages but make little effort to understand the true relationship between the soul and the Supreme Soul. Sant Nirankari Mission conveys that once a person realizes God through the grace of the Satguru, fear, anxiety, stress, and insecurity gradually disappear.
He emphasized that the core message of all religions is love, humanity, and brotherhood. Whether one says Ishwar, Allah, Waheguru, or God, all refer to the same formless Supreme Being. Therefore, one must rise above discrimination based on religion, caste, language, or region and follow the path of love and harmony. The Nirankari Mission considers the entire humanity as one family and continuously works to strengthen unity and coexistence in society.
Speaking on ego, he said the greatest barrier between man and God is the feeling of “I” and “mine.” Selfless service is the simplest way to renounce ego. When a person serves without expectation of praise or recognition, humility develops within.
Earlier, the local Zonal Incharge Shri O.P. Nirankari Ji welcomed and thanked Shri Surinder Pal Ji for visiting Chandigarh. Other speakers also shared their experiences about adopting the teachings of the Nirankari Mission. Shri Navneet Pathak and other dignitaries were also present at the gathering.
