Chandigarh, May 26 – Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that the last 12 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi have proved to be a golden era for India. During this period, the country has witnessed unprecedented progress in every sector, public confidence has strengthened, infrastructure has expanded rapidly, and through the digital revolution, India has established a distinct identity on the global stage. He said that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India’s economy has risen from the 11th position to become the 5th largest economy in the world, which reflects the country’s economic strength and growing global influence.

Responding to questions from media personnel, Sh. Anil Vij said that India’s global image has undergone a historic transformation over the past few years. He said that earlier, whenever terrorist incidents occurred, responses were limited to expressions of grief and tribute, but today India has become a nation capable of taking decisive and strong action against terrorism.

He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has adopted a firm policy against terrorism. Today, if any terrorist activity takes place, India is fully capable of giving a befitting reply. Through operations such as the Surgical Strike and “Operation Sindoor,” terrorist hideouts have been destroyed, thereby strengthening the nation’s security and honour.

Sh. Vij further said that the three lions depicted in India’s National Emblem symbolize strength, courage and self-confidence, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has worked to establish India firmly on the global stage in accordance with these very values. He said that today India is touching new heights in the fields of self-reliance, development and national security, and the world community is looking at India with a new perspective.
