Jalandhar, 05.08.26-; Writing yet another glorious chapter in India's sporting journey, athletes from Lovely Professional University (LPU) delivered an exceptional performance at the Commonwealth Games 2026, winning eight medals for the nation, including four gold, two silver and two bronze. Competing across boxing, weightlifting, athletics and judo, 11 LPU athletes represented India on one of the world's biggest sporting stages, reaffirming the university's stature as a powerhouse of Indian sport and a consistent contributor to the country's international sporting success.
Completing the university's representation at the Games were Pooja (Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports) in athletics, Sanjana (BPES) in weightlifting and Martina Devi (BA) in weightlifting, each proudly representing India at the prestigious multisport event.
