A Case FIR no 187 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 36 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Ritik R/o # 576 Phase-1 , BDC, Chandigarh from plot no 29, Timber market Sector 26 Chandigarh on 14.10.2026 and recovered one kamanidar knife from his possession. A Case FIR No 128 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in police Station Sector 26 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

DCC of Chandigarh Police arrested Sunder Lal R/o # 2225 Sector 37/C Chandigarh, Ravi

R/o # 2225 Sector 37/C Chandigarh, Subham R/o # 2240 Sector 37/C Chandigarh and Deva R/o # 204 Dadu Majra Chandigarh from Room no 110, Hotel Sun City Sector 42 Attawa while gambling and recovered cash Rs. 50,200/-and playing cards from their possession. A Case Fir no 186 U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 36 Chandigarh. Later on the accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Action against Excise Act

DCC of Chandigarh Police arrested Arvind, Rajesh Sharma and Raj Kumar Thakur all R/o #1726 Hallomajra Chandigarh from back side Traffic line Sector 29 Chandigarh along with Mahindra Pick-up no CH01TC- 5864 loaded with 299 boxes of illegal liquor. A Case FIR no 197 U/S 61-1-14 has been registered in the Police Station Industrial Area. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested lady R/o # Sector 25 Chandigarh from near Dadu Majra Colony Market Chandigarh on 14.10.2026 and recovered 60 quarters desi wine marka from her possession. A Case FIR no 133 U/S 61-1-14 has been registered in Police Station Maloya Chandigarh. Later on the accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 56 U/S 305, 331(4) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 19 Chandigarh on the complaint of Pritpal Singh R/o # 3021, Sector 21 Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away one mobile phone, one camera and one fridge from complainant house on 14.10.2026. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Cyber Cheating

A Case Fir no 175 U/S 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber Sector 17 Chandigarh on the complaint of lady R/o # Sector 15 Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated complainant for Rs. 1,96,000/-regarding work from home on Instagram. A Case FIR No 171 U/S 318(4) BNS has been registered in Police Station Mauli Jagran Chandigarh on the complaint of Anurag R/o # 308/B Mauli Jagran Chandigarh against Joginder R/o # 39/A First floor Shiva Enclave Mohali Punjab who cheated complainant for Rs.3,95,000/- on the pretext of allotment of Housing board flat in Mauli jagran Chandigarh.
