Cyber Cheating
A case FIR No. 181 u/s 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered at Police Station Cyber Crime on the complaint of Kamini W/o Vishal, R/o H. No. 34, near Surya Hotel, Burail, Sector-45, Chandigarh. The complainant reported that an unknown person allegedly cheated her of тВ╣2,15,000/- through an APK file. The incident involved the downloading of the APK file, which was reportedly used to defraud the complainant. Investigation of the case is in progress.
A case FIR No. 182 u/s 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered at Police Station Cyber Crime on the complaint of Vipin Kumar Sharma, R/o H. No. 15, Karanpuri, Ambala Cantt, Haryana. The complainant reported that an unknown person allegedly cheated him of тВ╣2,78,804/- by inducing him to download an APK file. The accused allegedly used the APK file to carry out the fraudulent activity, resulting in financial loss to the complainant. Investigation of the case is in progress.
THEFT
A case FIR No. 102 u/s 305(A), 331(3) BNS has been registered at Police Station Industrial Area on the complaint of Manoj Kumar S/o Hari Vans Narayan, R/o H. No. 2325, Sector-29, Chandigarh.The complainant reported that an unknown person allegedly committed theft at his house on 15-10-2026. The stolen property included one laptop, two gas cylinders and some clothes. Investigation of the case is in progress.
ASSAULT CAUSING INJURIES
A case FIR No. 175 u/s 118(1), 3(5), 351(2) BNS has been registered at Police Station Mauli Jagran (MJ) on the complaint of a boy aged 15 years. He reported that on 17-10-2026 , he was allegedly attacked and stabbed by Abhishek S/o Dharminder, R/o H. No. 2788, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh, and Umesh @ Assa S/o Rajinder, R/o H. No. 2436, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. The incident took place at Charan Singh Colony, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. The complainant sustained injuries and was admitted to GMCH-32, Chandigarh, for treatment. Investigation of the case is in progress.
