Chandigarh, October 27:- The Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh, Sh. Amit Kumar, IAS, today administered the integrity pledge to officers and employees of the Municipal Corporation as part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2026, reaffirming the civic body's commitment to honesty, transparency and accountability in public service.

The pledge was administered in the presence of Joint Commissioners Dr. Himanshu Gupta and Sh. Balbir Raj Singh, MOH Dr. Inderdeep Kaur and other officers and employees of the Municipal Corporation.

During the pledge, officials resolved to work with honesty and integrity, neither give nor accept bribes, follow rules and regulations, and ensure transparency and accountability in the discharge of their duties.

The pledge also emphasised adherence to ethical practices, awareness of relevant laws and the availability of grievance-redressal mechanisms for reporting corruption and fraudulent activities.
