New Delhi, Dated: 27/01/24-Delhi Tourism organized many fairs and festivals from time to time. In this series, a two-day Sufiyana Nights is being organized at NDMC Convention Hall on 27th and 28th January 2024.
Sufiyana Nights - The word ‘Sufi’ is probably derived from the Arabic word 'Suf', which means “purity” in Arabic. The word ‘Sufi’ is used for any Muslim saint or dervish and originates from the word Safa, i.e., a devotee of God who is free from all worldly evils.
Sufis are also seekers of love.
They are entirely devoted to their beloved. Their philosophy is called ‘Tasawwuf,’ i.e., detached from the world but unconscious in love. Meeting with Allah is their only goal to show and inspire this intimate love.
Sufiyana Nights is being organized by Delhi Tourism, in which Qawwali will be presented by Haji Aslam Sabri on 27 January 2024, and Salman Zaman will present the Sufi band on 28 January 2024. Entry into this Sufiyana Nights is free.
