A Major Testament to India Zero Tolerance Policy Against Terrorism: Jitender Pal Malhotra

Chandigarh, April 11 — The horrific night of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks still lives on in the hearts of every Indian. The screams of innocent people, who became victims of terror without cause, can never be forgotten. Today, as one of the key masterminds behind that pain, Tahawwur Rana, has been extradited from the United States to India, this is not just a legal action—it is the first step toward delivering justice to the souls of 1.4 billion Indians.

President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Chandigarh, Jitender Pal Malhotra said, “This moment brings a ray of hope to every family that lost everything on 26/11. The extradition of Tahawwur Rana proves that when leadership is strong, no terrorist can escape India’s reach. Only Narendra Modi could have made this possible.”

Malhotra stated that the Modi government has once again shown that India no longer stays silent—it responds, and responds strongly. “India’s policy against terrorism is crystal clear: zero tolerance,” he said. He also praised the unwavering efforts and commitment of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), which played a crucial role in bringing this mission to fruition.

“Today, the head of the nation is held high. Today, the souls of the martyrs may have found some peace. And today, every Indian has renewed faith that India stands up for its people and ensures justice,” Malhotra added with emotion.

The Bharatiya Janata Party, Chandigarh, expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and pledges to always stand at the forefront in the fight for national interest, security, and justice.

Chandigarh Administration’s Unchecked Officials Suppressing Public Opinion – BJP Vows to Launch a Decisive Battle

When the issue of house tax was brought up in the Municipal Corporation, all elected councillors and the Mayor of Chandigarh, Harpreet Kaur Babla, outright rejected it. The message was loud and clear – the people of Chandigarh are against house tax. However, it is unfortunate that some officials in the Chandigarh administration still consider themselves above the public. Behind closed doors, they have taken a unilateral decision and imposed this tax forcefully.

This isn’t just a tax – it is tyranny, a modern-day “Jaziya,” and a daylight robbery on citizens’ pockets.

Sanjeev Rana, BJP Chandigarh Media In-charge, launched a scathing attack, saying: “Some officials in Chandigarh now think they are above the Constitution. Is this democracy, where decisions are made bypassing the elected representatives of the people? If these officials still believe they can impose anything on the public at will, then BJP will now teach them a lesson about ground reality.”

He further added: “These very officials were out of control during the Congress regime. Even Pawan Bansal had admitted that the officers didn’t listen to him. If the same drama continues under BJP governance, then BJP will not tolerate it. These officers will now be held accountable.”

BJP’s Demands and Warning:

Immediate rollback of the house tax.

Public opinion must be considered in every citizen-related decision.

Transparency and accountability must be ensured in administration.

Action should be taken against officials acting arbitrarily.

If not, BJP will not remain silent – Chandigarh will witness mass public outrage.

BJP clearly states – the era of unchecked bureaucracy is over. Chandigarh belongs to its people, not to a monarchy. Any decision made behind closed doors will now have to face the fury of the public.
