CM Nayab Singh Saini attends Constitution Day programme at Haryana Vidhan Sabha

Strengthening and empowering the nation is the true essence of the Constitution: CM

Chandigarh, November 26 — On the occasion of Constitution Day, Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini reached the Haryana Vidhan Sabha on Wednesday and participated in a programme organised there, extending heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state. The Chief Minister said today is a day of pride for all of us, as the Constitution of India has granted every citizen the right to progress with equal opportunity, justice, and dignity.

He said strengthening, empowering, and uniting the nation is the core spirit of the Constitution, and with this resolve, the Haryana Government is continuously working for the development of every section of society. He said that transparency, good governance, social justice, and citizen participation are the soul of democratic governance, and the policies of the government are based on these principles.

He said under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, the Constitution is completely safe today, and the ‘mantra’ of ‘Sabka Saath — Sabka Vikas — Sabka Vishwas — Sabka Prayas’ is a true reflection of the spirit of the Constitution. The strong democratic framework under the Prime Minister’s leadership has given top priority to safeguarding the Constitution. He said that national interest and the dignity of the Constitution are paramount.

The Chief Minister urged all citizens to remain aware of the fundamental duties and rights enshrined in the Constitution and to actively contribute to nation-building. He said the future of India lies in the hands of the youth, and they should commit themselves to fulfilling their duties towards society and the nation with a sound understanding of the Constitution.

During the programme, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Sh. Harvinder Kalyan, Development & Panchayat Minister Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar, Education Minister Sh. Mahipal Dhanda, Revenue Minister Sh. Vipul Goel, Minister of State for Food & Supplies Sh. Rajesh Nagar, along with several MLAs, officers, and staff members were present.

CM Nayab Singh Saini Welcomes Sheesh Marg Yatra in Chandigarh

The Yatra is Dedicated to 350th Shaheedi Diwas of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji

Chandigarh, November 26 — A Sheesh Marg Yatra, dedicated to the 350th Shaheedi Diwas of ‘Hind ki Chadar’ Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, reached the CRPF Campus in Chandigarh on Wednesday, where Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini welcomed the yatra. He paid obeisance to the holy Palki Sahib. Upon its arrival, the CRPF unit showered flowers upon Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji and presented a Guard of Honour.

The Chief Minister said that the unparalleled sacrifice of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji is a guiding light for all of humanity. The courage and spiritual devotion with which he dedicated his life for the protection of faith, truth, and humanity stand as an example for the entire world. He said that the Sheesh Marg Yatra inspires us to walk the path of communal harmony, brotherhood, duty, and courage. The Haryana Government stands firmly with such spiritual and social initiatives. The yatra commenced on November 24 from Gurudwara Sisganj Sahib, Delhi and will conclude with a sacred ceremony on November 26 at Sri Anandpur Sahib.

The yatra is being led by Baba Manjit Singh Ji Zirakpur Wale and marks the 15th Sheesh Marg Yatra, with a large number of devotees participating. Upon entering Haryana, grand receptions were held at Badkhal, Tarawadi, Karnal, Panipat, Ambala, and several other towns. Devotees welcomed the procession with flower showers, kirtan, ardas, and langar seva, creating a deeply spiritual atmosphere throughout.

During its arrival in Chandigarh, the sangat filled the environment with divine and spiritual peace through sacred hymns, kirtan, and ardas. Hundreds of devotees gathered for darshan and to be part of this blessed yatra.

On this occasion, Director of Haryana Sahitya Akademi (Punjabi Cell) Sh. Harpal Singh Gill, Sh. Sanjay Tandon, former CRPF IG Sh. Jasvir Singh Sandhu, DIG Sh. Harjinder Singh, CO Sh. Vishal and Sh. Vikram Singh, DSP Sh. Kulwinder Singh, and Sarpanch Sh. Sukhjeet Singh, along with other dignitaries, were present.
