Six arrested in Snatching Case

A Case FIR No 09 U/S 304(2), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 03 Chandigarh on the complaint of Gurbaksh R/o # 1616 Janta Colony Nayagaon Punjab against 4-6 unknown persons on alto car no HR12M-0057 which sped away after snatched complainant mobile phone, purse containing Aadhar card, ATM Card cash Rs. 2600/- and one bag containing clothes and tools from Matka Chowk, Chandigarh on 27.01.2026. During the investigation five persons and one juvenile were arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 11 U/S 304,309, 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 36 Chandigarh on the complaint of Gaurav R/o # 90 Sector 11 Chandigarh against 5/6 unknown person on alto car no not known sped away after snatched complainant purse containing Aadhar card, pan card, ATM Card, and cash 5000/- and one bag containing clothes and cash Rs. 10,000/- from 42/43 small chowk on 27.01.2026.Investigation of this case in progress.

One arrested in Theft Case

A Case FIR No 12 U/S 305 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 19 Chandigarh on the complaint of Anshul Yadav R/o # 3107, Sector 20/D Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away one laptop, gold cain, one mobile phone of complainant friend from his house on 25.01.2026.During the investigation Karan Sharma R/o # 105, near park Dadu Majra Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 15 U/S 305(E) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 17 Chandigarh on the complaint of Pardeep Kumar R/o # flat no 51 A/B A/B first floor friends Enclave, Zirakpur Punjab against unknown person who stole away cash Rs. 13,13,710/- from cash branch of CTU, ISBT Sector 17 Chandigarh on 26/27.01.2026. Investigation of this case is in progress.
