Two persons arrested in Gambling Act.

Chandigarh Police arrested Sanjay @ Rohantila R/o # 805, Ph-1, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh and Sanjay @ Khyali R/o # 3095, Sector- 45/D, Chandigarh from cactus park ram darbar while gambling and recovered cash Rs 4100/- from their possession. A case FIR No. 17 U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 31 Chandigarh. Later on the accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Murder

A Case FIR No. 18 U/S 103(1) BNS has been registered in Police Station Industrial Area Chandigarh on the complaint of Prem Parkash Tiwari R/o # 249 Gurudwara Wali Gali, Daria, Chandigarh against Vishal R/O Not Known Who Attack On Complainant’s Brother Arun R/o # 531 Vill-Daria, with Sharp Knife at G.P Royal Hotel Village-Daria, Chandigarh on 29-01-2026 Arun got injured lifted to GMCH-32 Chandigarh where duty doctor declared him brought dead. Investigation of this case is in progress.
