CHANDIGARH, 01.02.26-Laghu Udyog Bharti has welcomed the Union Budget presented by Hon’ble Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman ji, terming it progressive, growth-oriented and inclusive, with special focus on women entrepreneurs, MSMEs, youth and healthcare.
The budget strengthens MSMEs through easier credit, simplified taxation, GST rationalisation and support to legacy industries, which will boost employment and domestic manufacturing. Announcements related to women-led enterprises, one girls’ hostel in every district, and education-to-employment initiatives for youth will enhance social empowerment and workforce participation.
Key focus on healthcare, Ayurveda, veterinary education, data centres, design centres, and seven high-speed railway corridors will accelerate infrastructure development and contribute to sustained GDP growth. Relief measures for senior citizens, a simplified new income tax regime, rationalised TCS, duty adjustments, and expansion of 5G and digital infrastructure further improve ease of living and ease of doing business.
