Chandigarh, May 10 – Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij today visited the famous Mata Mansa Devi Siddhpeeth Temple in Panchkula along with his family and offered prayers to seek the blessings of the Goddess. During the visit, he prayed for the prosperity, peace, and welfare of the people of the state. On his arrival at the temple premises, he was welcomed by devotees and the temple administration.

Sh. Anil Vij performed traditional rituals and bowed at the feet of Mata Rani, praying for the good health, progress, and happiness of the people of Haryana. He said that the Mata Mansa Devi Siddhpeeth Temple is a major center of faith for devotees from across the country, and visiting the temple provides spiritual peace and positive energy.

The Energy Minister said that Indian culture and Sanatan traditions are our identity, providing society with unity, harmony, and spiritual strength. He added that religious places spread positive messages in society and strengthen the values of service, culture, and humanity among people.

Sh. Vij also appreciated the arrangements and facilities being provided to devotees at the temple complex. Members of his family were also present during the temple visit. Devotees interacted with the Energy Minister and greeted him warmly. The temple premises remained filled with a devotional atmosphere as devotees chanted slogans in praise of Mata Rani.

Wishing peace, happiness, and prosperity for the people of the state, Sh. Vij said that with the blessings of the Goddess, Haryana will continue to move forward on the path of development and progress. He further said that the present government is continuously working for the development of religious and historical places and for expanding facilities for devotees.

*Tribute to the immortal martyrs of 1857 – PM Narendra Modi to inaugurate Asia’s largest martyr memorial in Ambala Cantonment: Energy Minister Anil Vij*

Chandigarh, May 10 – Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij paid tribute to the martyrs on the occasion of May 10, 1857, the day when the First War of Independence began. He informed that the largest martyr memorial dedicated to the heroes of the 1857 uprising has been constructed in Ambala Cantonment, which will soon be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Sh. Vij shared this information today on X (formerly Twitter) and stated that "Today is May 10, the very day on which the First War of Independence began in 1857. Armed struggles took place across the country against the British, and countless sons of Mother India sacrificed their lives. I pay my heartfelt tributes to all those brave heroes. To honor them, Asia’s largest martyr memorial has been built in Ambala Cantonment, which will soon be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi." (roughly translated)

It is noteworthy that the martyr memorial in Ambala Cantonment has been constructed at a cost of approximately ₹700 crore in memory of the brave martyrs of the First War of Independence of 1857. The memorial has now been completed and will showcase the complete history of the 1857 uprising through various mediums.

A 63-meter-high lotus-shaped memorial tower has also been constructed within the complex, where a light and sound show will be presented during the night. Directly in front of the memorial tower, a grand gallery with seating capacity for 2,000 people has also been built.
