Two persons arrested in Arms Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Sunil R/o # 277, Small Flats Dhanas Chandigarh from near Chitkara School, turn Sector-25 Chandigarh on 12-05-2026 and recovered one kamanidar knife from his possession. A Case FIR No. 62 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-11 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Rohit @ Bava R/o # 934, Saini Mohalla, Village Burail Chandigarh from Near Shaheed Udham Singh Bhawan Sector-44 Chandigarh on 12-05-2026 and recovered one desi pistol and one live cartridge from his possession. A Case FIR No. 64 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-34 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One person arrested in NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Baljit @ Chitta R/o # 723/1 Bapu Dham Colony, Sector-26, Chandigarh from near plot no. 29, Timber Market Sector-26 Chandigarh on 12-05-2026 and recovered 10.69 gram heroin from his possession. A case FIR No.55 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-26 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.
