Chandigarh, May 14:- A review meeting regarding the ongoing House Listing Operations for Census 2027 was convened under the chairmanship of Dr. Himanshu Gupta, Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh-cum-Census Charge Officer-03. The meeting was attended by Census Supervisors, Enumerators and officials of Census Cell-03 of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the progress of House Listing Operations, coordination with residents during field visits, and the challenges being faced by census teams while conducting surveys. Special emphasis was laid on ensuring accuracy, transparency and timely completion of census-related activities across all designated areas.

Reviewing the field operations, Dr. Himanshu Gupta appreciated the sincere efforts and dedication of the census staff engaged in the extensive survey exercise. He highlighted the importance of maintaining proper coordination with residents and adhering strictly to prescribed guidelines to ensure reliable and error-free data collection for Census 2027.

The Joint Commissioner also issued necessary directions to Supervisors and Enumerators for the smooth and effective implementation of the House Listing Operations in their respective jurisdictions.

On the occasion, three Supervisors along with their respective Enumerators, who completed the House Listing Operations in record time, were specially felicitated for their outstanding performance.

Appreciation Letters were presented to the three Supervisors and 32 Enumerators in recognition of their exceptional efficiency, commitment and timely completion of assigned responsibilities.
