Chandigarh, May 23:- Reaffirming the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh’s commitment towards scientific waste management and environmental sustainability, MC Chief Engineer Sh. Sanjay Arora today actively participated in a special cleanliness drive at the Dadumajra dumping site along with employees and sanitation teams of the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh.

During the drive, nearly 25 tonnes of non-biodegradable waste material was collected from the dumping site and transported to the dry waste processing plant for its scientific disposal and processing. The initiative forms part of MCC’s ongoing efforts to improve sanitation conditions and reduce environmental hazards through systematic waste management practices.

Leading from the front, Sh. Sanjay Arora joined sanitation workers and field staff in collecting plastic, polythene, rubber, cloth and other non-biodegradable waste scattered across the site. His active participation boosted the morale of the employees and reflected the Corporation’s dedicated approach towards maintaining cleanliness and protecting the environment.
